Hey! I am new to the whole pot smoking thing. I just bought some bud from a guy I don't really know, so I don't know if he is trusworthy or not.
I haven't smoked it yet and if I got ripped I would like to see if I can return it unsmoked.
He said it was high kb (something like that), and that it was the best he had.
I paid $65 for an eighth.
It has a sweet, pungent smell and has no visible seeds.

Was I ripped? Can you tell if it is indica or sativa? Maybe what strain?
Is it even an eighth?

Help me I am a noob and would like to learn.

Yes you got ripped off. The standard price for kind is $50 and 1/8th. I refuse to pay more. The bud looks pretty good from what I can see in the picture, but yes you did get ripped off. $65 for an 1/8th is too high. I would advise that you try someone else. Drug dealers sometimes like to take advantage of people because some are assholes who probably sell hard drugs. An old dealer of mine who kept blowing me off said he didn't make money off of weed and so he had to get it from his friend or something.

But anyway, don't pay that much. Either keep paying the inflated price if you must have the weed, or you could start looking around for another dealer which can be difficult. If you want, drop me an email and I can talk to you about this problem. [email protected]

That looks to me like it could be an 1/8th. And yes, you got ripped off. Don't worry though. You could just sell the shit to someone for the same price, and rip someone else off, or you could smoke it, and forget about it. The next time you buy, make sure to only pay $50 at MAX for an 1/8th, and only if it's dank. You'll get the hang of it. Do not snitch on the dude... that is lame. You got yourself into the mess, remember that. Plus, if people found out that you snitched, you will have a much harder time buying any weed (even if it's anonymous, things like that tend to get out from time to time--do not do it... at all). Plus, think of it from his point of view. Sure, he fucked you over, but he's trying to make money. Big legal corporations are no different.

2. Meet in a place where I have time to inspect the weed no matter how hard it is to open the bag
3. smell, denseness, color are all things to take in account
4. white powder can be good or bad or not there at all
5. look for hairs
6. If ripped off, don't call the cops, settle it yourself

Well, let me be more specific about "the white powder". This "powder" is trichomes on the weed, it is something that grows on it narutally during the flowering state of the plant. The trichomes contain the most THC in the plant, which is what gets you high. So in, basicly, the more trichomes your weed has, the better. The reason I said to rub your fingers on the weed is because its might be too dark in the area Im in to tell whether there are alotta trichomes on the weed. Also, its hard to tell just by looking at it.

The 1/8th that you bought could be put to good use by making brownies out of it.

If I were you I just wouldnt say anything to the dealer or talk to him again.

It was his first time and he didnt know how to deal with it, so calm down. If someone really fucked me over (not by $20, but by like $100) they would wish I would have called the cops on them.

Firstly he's not a child. He entered into a transaction unprepared and uneducated. That was his choice.

Secondly...obviously he thought it was worth $65 to him at the time, because he willingly gave his money away. Again....his choice.

Then to even think about snitching over a volunteered transaction truly irks me. No one here knows if he was ripped to begin with. You need to know where he is, what he was sold and the weight. We already know that its probably indoor grow because it was seedless (I think). And if it was indoor, and being peddled, it was probably hydro, which typically is perceived to be more expensive and quicker to grow.

And if this dealer is looking for repeat business, he's not going to rip anyone off unless he saw our dear friend for what he was.
