Experience with Sour Diesel?
Growing Sour Diesel right now, three weeks into 12. 12
Everything is going pretty well so far, but my humidity levels are a tad high 61% lights on 69% lights off, curious if you guys have grown it and specifically how suspectable to mold it was. I bought a dehumidifier but can't really have it work very effectively as my Vortex is sucking air out of the room quicker than the d/h could do its job. Any experiences are highly appreciated.razzapiggy Reviewed by razzapiggy on . Experience with Sour Diesel? Experience with Sour Diesel?
Hey Guys,
Got my humidity way down with a d/h, but I really am curious what type of experiences people have had with Sour Diesel. I vegged mine for too long for various reasons, and things are a bit cluttered in there (especially down low) I am a bit concerned about mold, and would like to know weather or not this strain is resistent to mold or very vulnerable. I am now almost five weeks into flowering, and am considering throwing a few out unfortunately. Any experience is appreciated.

just finished up a crop of the sour D. i didn't have any problems w/ mold-but i live on the coast, so i'm a vigilante when it comes to mold. i have started using this organic product called messenger. since i started using it a few months back i have quit using my sulfur burner. the herb turned out great. really frostier than expected and it weighed much more than expected. i too veged too long and it got a lil crowded. hope you have some odor control!!!! it gets intense during those 9th and 10th weeks. well worth it. you growin OG or Hydro????? ENJOY!!!!!!:rasta:

Hydro my friend... and I live on the coast as well! Much like you, I vegged for too long too, way too long. Things are a bit crowded down below, so I was forced to trim the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Got my humidity levels under control, and yes I have a carbon filter... right now I only run exhaust every other fiften minutes this way I can keep my temps up, so far it has worked but I have a feeling I am going to need to put em on more (lights on) soon. EXhaust is off completely during their night cycle. I am on week five right now, things are looking real good besides a nitrogen difficiency which I am working on. Have been told get em staked up now while I can before they start to fall over. How much did you yield? I stunted them a bit so I am expecting a below average yield, but still very hopeful! They look beatiful as of now and I have been told they bulk up big time in the last two weeks by several people.
P.S Big Phish fan? Used to travel across the country to see them, good times... the news about Trey is too bad - hope he gets better

hi, you humidity dosent sound to bad, but you certainly dont want it to rise above what you already have,
i dont belive theres any such thing as vegging for to long, as long as your space can accomodate it.
your grow sounds simmilar to mine in a few respects, i used a few methods for reducing the bulk of the leaf mass, one being using a plastic zip-tie about 1/3 up from the soil of plant height, to pull some selected good yielding branches, it also saves space with the side growth and stop it flopping out.
also, i removed probably 1/2/3 branches on each plant on average to maximise the stronger branches.
