The fact that I'm acting in my school's play of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (playing Bottom, for those familiar with it) has inspired me to want to adapt it into a weird, trippy, ethereal, light/dark, edgy stoner film set in 1960s' England or America.
