Messed up High

Well I have a friend, who last time we smoked he had a fucked up high. Like to the point of retardation. He was laughing non stop (every single thing I said, and I mean everything), kinda freaking out, very annoying. I had to basically baby sit him, it was buzz kill..

Well the point of this is what are some ways to prevent this cause I wanna smoke tonight with him but I don't want that to happen again.
