How US forged an alliance with Ethiopia over invasion
Yes the Christians were there...it is really sad but the US Military has been using Christianity of lack of to invade for a long time.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A watchdog group that promotes religious freedom in the U.S. military accused senior officers on Monday using their rank and influence to coerce soldiers and airmen into adopting evangelical Christianity.
The Pentagon punishes those who do not accept evangelical beliefs by stalling their careers.
"It's egregious beyond the pale," said Mikey Weinstein, president and founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. "We apparently have a radicalized, evangelical Christian Pentagon within the rest of the Pentagon."
Then there is this wonderful group...
http://www.forceministries.com/ WOW I can see Jesus in his camo now!
They are going into predominately Muslim countries not for Humanitarian aid but to spread the Christain agenda/US agenda. These guys go in and then bring in the missionaries to SAVE the sinners and if a few gets killed WE hear about it constantly its good for the exspansionism
We are suppose to believe this is the Christain thing to do. I know it is bullshit and it is US domination dressed in Christain garb.

[edit] Conflict in Somalia (2006)
This article documents a current event.
Information may change rapidly as the event progresses.
Main article: War in Somalia (2006â??present)
On Sunday, December 24, 2006, Ethiopian forces launched airstrikes against the Islamist Militia across Somalia in support of the weak Somali interim government.[27] Ethiopian Information Minister Berhan Hailu stated that targets were in Baidoa. This was the first use of airstrikes by Ethiopia, and also its first public admission of involvement in Somalia. Initially the Ethiopian government made strong denials of this fact. [28]
Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi said on Sunday he was waging war against Somalia's Islamists to protect his country's sovereignty, adding that: "Ethiopian defense forces were forced to enter into war to protect the sovereignty of the nation and to blunt repeated attacks by Islamic courts terrorists and anti-Ethiopian elements they are supporting" [8]
^^^^^^they are ethiopians before christians.....the word sovereignty gives it away.^^^^^^^
On Monday December 25, 2006 Ethiopia declared war on the Islamic Courts, and Ethiopian jet fighters bombed the international airport in Mogadishu. [9] Ethiopia, the United Nations and most Western nations do not recognize the Islamic courts (UIC) as the Somali government, backing instead the legitimacy of the transitional government. However Eritrea is accused of supporting the Islamic Courts Union in Somalia

How US forged an alliance with Ethiopia over invasion
Yes dear I am more worried about the Ethiopians than the Christians because the Christians were not there first. They went there to save the heathens and change the present culture. Just like you want to do. Reform the Muslims.
It seems you think all of America has gone to the evil liberals. Our newspapers, our newly elected officials are all wrong. We are the bad people here in America.
You have more concern for the Iraqis and reforming them so why don't you leave and go where you can really get sumthin done...Go put your little sweeties in that wonderful new american tax dollar school in Iraq you and Psycho brag about..git er done son.

How US forged an alliance with Ethiopia over invasion
You help Africa with food, schools and medical aid NOT WEAPONS that is NOT really a true Christian thing to do. I know this is a hard concept for you to understand because politics has distorted your view of Christ. YOU MIGHT TRY reading the New Testament...
Imagine how much we could help Africa and our OWN country if we were not spending.... how much is it now...it grows by 200 million each and every day and will soon surpass 1 trillion dollars...1 TRILLION DOLLARS
You understand that much money could provide free medical care, housing, food and paid education for every single American in this country and there would still be money left.
Where do your loyalties lie really?

How US forged an alliance with Ethiopia over invasion
great post eg420
The operation, which opened a new front in Washington's anti-terror campaign, seems to have backfired spectacularly in the five days since it was launched. In addition to the scores of Somali civilians killed, the simmering civil war in the failed state has been rekindled.
thats just what they were going for all along...
