    Hermaphrodism..seed production?

K, 1/4 of my effing plants were female, and it turned out to be hermaphrodite on top of everything. It's hard for me to judge the ratio of male to female flowers on it, but can someone with experience towards this subject perhaps tell me what I'm going to end up with as far as amount of seeds in my finished buds? I'm removing as many male flowers as I can, but it's very tedious and hard on my back to sit there and pluck those little shits off of there, which is why I'm wondering if it's going to even be worth it at all..(me end up with 90% seeds would fucking suck) Anyone?

Any seeds you get will be feminized but carry the shit natural herm trait so are therefore useless... yeah you can make butter... but be sure to clean up your grow room carefully after you remove the crop so the next one doesn't get fucked...it's worth it to pick off the male parts and mist your plants OFTEN to avoid pollination... usually misting in flower is bad but keep your humidity down and your fans on because the way to make pollen inactive is with water. You're still probably going to get plenty of seed.

What strain was it? Where did you get the seeds?

It was some commercial strain, bag seed. It was some of the best that I've came accross these past several months though. And fuck. I was hoping that hermie traits weren't passed on. That sucks. Thanks for the advice :greenthumb:

p.s. I've tried ordering seeds a couple of different times and customs took them both times. $75 the first time and $60 the second time. That's too much money to be burning, so I gave up hoping to just use the good commercial seeds that I have and am just now learning that this mexican crap is all going to be hermie seeds I don't even know if I'm going to bother growing any of these fucking seeds outside if seeds is all I'm going to get..

And you say to mist, and how persistant how I need to be doing this? I have somewhat decent air flow, and about 70-80 degrees so I would think the water would dry and evaporate rather quickly? As depicted by the photo, very ghetto setup, but it works. Big fan for air intake and then the small fan for exhaust.

    I've just harvested 3 hermies.
I found 1-2 male flowers on them each when I first discovered it 2 weeks before harvest. A couple opened up. Since then I've been snipping twice a day. I missed maybe 3-4 more during the rest of the flowering, but I got everything else. They only grew maybe 1-2 males flowers in 2-3 days, so the only problem was finding them, which took me 20 minutes two times a day.

Some of the lower buds got smitten and I saw that quite early, so I just quick dried them and smoked them up. The rest of the plants have turned out great, no seed, and I think Im looking at 2hg sensi...

You mist the male flower as soon as you see it. Then you very carefully lift it away.
