Eyedrop...Any long-term problems with daily use

Sigh, well hear is the information.

NEVER USE ANY REDNESS RELIEF FOR YOUR EYES

It works by constrincting the blood vessels in your eyes, causing less and less oxygen to be able to get to your eyes. Some vessels can even collapse on theirself.

Opcon-A is what my ophthalmologist recommends for allergic redness/itching. It burns, but it does work.

Way of the Leaf, I've often wondered where you get your facts. They're so frequently wrong. Vaso-constriction does indeed shrink blood vessels, but collapse is a very rare occurrence, particularly with over-the-counter opthalmic solutions that target tiny capillaries.

Yeah, I use Opcon-A as well. Burns a bit, but works very, very, very well. I usually keep them in the fridge. Putting in freezing cold eye drops when you're high as hell is like an orgasm on your face.

EDIT: You got fucking owned by Birdgirl, lol.

I pick up bits and pieces and they run around my head and get stuck in the wrong places.

    have you ever used Rohto-V????
BEST eye drops you can use, period. nothing beats them. after using rohto-v i couldnt use clear eyes anymore it made my eyes sting and shit...

rohto is soo nice, its like minty kinda when it goes in your eye... realllly cold and refreshing.. and if you put them in the freezer for a little bit.. AMAZING

they clear your eyes hella fast too, they make them look 'normal' not clear but glossy, they are amazing and work instantly almost, about 30 seconds-minute to kick in

I went and picked up the Opcon-A. It did the job...especially after the lunch break I had. Wicked good....mmmm. I have been a clear eyes fan for a loooong time. Me and her go way back. I was most concerned about the health affects...and this at least looks like it's better for me eyes. That roto looks real cool...but $$

I may have to try that Rhoto...y'all make a convincing case. This Optiva-A is good stuff. Before, when using Clear Eyes, I'd have to drop every 4-6 hours to stay clear (if I was smoking). This morning after dropping the Optiva-A, it burned and cleared right up and I haven't needed a refresher since!

To Birdgirl: Take one drop of any vaso-constrictant and put it on your tongue. Actually try and get less than one drop, like just put your finger tip into a drop of it and then touch it to your tongue. Then tell me that long term use isn't going to mess with you eyes.

I accidentally got a drop into my mouth one time and holy shit, i didn't think anything could be so nasty. I would rather drink straight up leaded gasoline than fucking clear eyes.

Like in that movie wedding crashers, where they put it in that guys drink. Thats just simple eye drops but if ingested can actually kill you and if it doesn't you will be stuck with life long problems like 50% of the time.

I found it really interesting how it also gets into your nasal cavity, if you're like me and you drop from the bridge of your nose into the inside white part of your eye then you should also notice that some of it gets into your nose.

Very sucky. Since your tear ducts or something on the inside part of your eyes is connected to your nasal cavity it drips into your nose! I don't notice it as much when i actually drop them in instead of bridging it.
