imagine if people in the 1900's had the internet
i wonder how advanced our shit would be...

I feel the same way. I was lucky to know life before and after the internet, and I remember how difficult some things were, and now all you have to do is click your mouse. I find that incredible.

The same thing can be said about cell phones. Especially now that they're really starting to combine together (check out the new cellphone stuff from CES at http://www.cesweb.org/default.asp). It's odd watching kids wander wherever they want nowadays. I can remember having to plot my entire night ahead of time knowing where the working phones would be at and have quarters. Now they have maps with blips, picture text and video messages. It's unreal.
