the only thing that i really dont like... is when people have lyrics in their sig or whatever and don't give a band or song. that's really really gay if you ask me. dont try to act like some deep philisophical person cause you can rip off somebody elses lyrics, give credit where credit is due.

I have noticed a few people here use song lyrics in thier sigs, I have a quote from Aerosmiths Get a Grip song.
I've noticed others use them too ,probably most memorable for me is a line from Alice Coopers "Elected" ,, you know who you are.

If you had to pick a line from a song what would it be, not the whole song but just a phrase.

Based on the genres of music a lot of people here listen to...I would be suprised if anyone knew what song the lyric in my signature is from.

It wasn't really a hit song so to speak, but it came from one of the most highly praised albums ever in it's genre (1994). It was also used as a sample in a different song on another one of the most highly praised albums ever in it's genre about a year later.

Nas originally, then Jay used the sample in "Dead Presidents" the next year on "Reasonable Doubt".

I thought it was funny when they were 'beefing', Jay said "You made it a hot line, I made it a hot song". LOL...all is good now though.
