If I cared about that with members here, well, I'd be in for fairly steady disappointment. I do care that you get so heated at times that you lose your cool. You have valid arguments, and someday you're going to get to the point where you see that the calmer and cooler you stay as you're making them, the more converts you'll win. Also, the more respect. This is why, among many reasons, it's so troubling for people to listen to Michael Savage. He's a slavering, screaming, emo madman, and until he learns how to keep the crazy-angry-factor in check, no rational, reasonable people can take him seriously.

I'm not going to take shots at you, Bong, and I didn't mean to with my repetition of that word earlier. If that hurt you, I regret it and apologize. You can deny this if you want to, but I do think that, deep down, you know it's important to me to be courteous and civil to folks. Heck, you even know the reasons why better than most. (The life-is-frighteningly-short-we-might-as-well-be-nice lesson I learned in early November when I lost my sister.)

You can choose to be hurt and offended by my repeating that word, or you can choose to see that that repetition wasn't intended maliciously. In the end, I suspect my record of taking the high road will still reflect pretty darn well in comparison to some others I can think of . . . . And if you do choose the hurt-offended route, that'll reveal a lot more about yourself than you might realize.

I personally do not like the Clintons because of their involvement in arms deals...I don't trust either of them but I would take a Clinton over a Bush any day. There have always been presidents involved in sex in the White House you live in a fantasy land if you think any different. This was one of the first times it has been brought to light.

I'd definitely like another name than Clinton on the end there. Hillary can't win anway. She might get a nomination, but she'll lose it for our team if she does. Too much deep hate and mistrust of her. That's why we need Obama and Edwards to really step up to the plate and join together, I think.

Definately! Clinton is used to being surrounded by bush. Having a Clinton without a bush on both sides just don't seem right.
