More death is not the answer.

    To you -

Chances are you don't even know that our esteemed leader is planning a gigantic, insane surge of troops into Iraq. Wake the fuck up.

    Your ignorance is forgivable.
Sending National Guard units on third and fourth tours of Iraq is not.

Having the future and certain deaths of countless thousands on your hands IS NOT FORGIVABLE.

Call your congressional representative. Tell them how vehemently opposed to this pathetic, disgusting, terrifying move you are, and tell them that they must, along with their peers, STOP THIS.

I know you don't care about what's happening in the world.

"It doesn't apply to me, so why should I?"

You terrify me as much as the Bush Administration terrifies me. You horrify me as much as Islamic extremists horrify me, and you sadden me as much as the 3,000 American deaths in Iraq (and the countless thousands of Iraqi innocents) sadden me. More than anything, though, you are seriously making me doubt that our future is bright.

    Please.

Please, if only for once, care.

    This has to be stopped.

Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

He'll leave his mark, all right. A fucking black mark on American history, right up there with Nixon.

Im against it as well. My uncle reinlisted and went back to serve his country, by the grace of god he made it back home safely before he holidays. He said he never wants to go back, and wont talk about some of the things he had seen and had to do. Its sad to sit back and watch the news and hear all the reports of death and destruction. Its getting very scary and if our president decides to attack Iran or North Korea I dont even want to think of the ramifacastions (sp) that will cause.

I wasn't happy we went in, but I'm not denying that we've done good there. Wrong reason, right result. We're not the world police, but brutal shit was going on over there. I wish the troops best of luck and hope they get home soon (that goes double for you Matt is you ever see this) and safe. That's all I'll say on the matter.

oh and this does belong in politics btw.

Amen to that LuckyNiner, good to see other people with the views i have...unfortunately being in the state where this dumbfuck comes from it is hard to voice my opinion without people goin ape shit. unfortunate to see people only believe what the media tells them, wake the fuck up and smell the green people.
anything i say and any pictures i post are simply those i took from other people off the internet. i am just merely living in a little fantasy world and strongly condone the use of any drugs.

a good friend will come and bail u out of jail a true friend friend will be sitting next to you saying \"Damn, we fucked up!\"

Anyone paying attention knows what Bush is doing....that is why so many neocons are speaking out. He is bringing all the players in from the PNAC. He is about to start a nuclear war in the middle east. Yes you are right people better wake up!

Bush is embracing the six-year-old neocon plan that many of its adherents have since abandoned, and he thinks he can now implement it using new strategies that most analysts, including most of the neoconservatives, reject and fear.

"As one senior military official put it today, '[Bush's planned surge of troops will] be like throwing kerosene on a fire'." --NBC Nightly News,

"... the Bush Administration has repeatedly asserted the right to initiate further attacks beyond Iraq without Congressional approval. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice recently testified that the President could attack Syria or Iran without any authorization from Congress." --The Nation, 1/23/06

"Support for sending additional troops to Iraq is at 11% (CNN) or 12% (LA Times). Opposition to the war is at 67% (CNN), and 54% want all U.S. troops out of Iraq by the end of 2007 (CNN). U.S. voters want the war to end. A "troop surge" is a betrayal of the voters, as is maintaining current troop levels." --David Swanson, AfterDowningStreet.org.

Bush is pulling troops from Afganistan at a time when they will have a taliban surge. His NEW WAR we will be fighting Iran and Syria.

George W. Bush is not going to voluntarily end his war and bring the troops home. Congress is going to have to stop it for him, and prevent him from starting another one.

He has already invaded the Iranian Embassy. This new war will take years and it is going to kill so many people. He is setting things up for war with all of the middle east. Republicans ands Democrats a like are against this. We all have to come together on this issue.

So, please take a few minutes to write or call your representatives and let them know that you will support their efforts to Stop the War and Bring the Troops Home. Urge them to use every Constitutional power available to them in this confrontation with the Bush Administration--including the power of the purse and impeachment, if necessary. They must do whatever it takes. This is a matter of life and death.

Funny thing is, from a world point-of-view, we're the bad guys right now. We're 20th century Germany.

I'll write, but in my most honest opinion I'm expecting World War III.
