Confused About How To Smoke Vaporizer

So I built a lightbulb vaporizer. I'm confused as to how to smoke it though.
I put a bonghole in the plastic soda bottle top, do I need to cover it and then let go like a bong? Do I need to inhale while Im burning it, or can I sit back and heat the weed for half a minute and then suck?
I'm totally confused and would really appreciate help, I'm getting stoned, but I can't tell how much I'm getting or whether theres anything left in the bulb, etc...

its easy... weed goes in, air comes out, weed comes in air comes out...

surely you should have found out how to use it before you made it...

What you are supposed to do is light it till you see smoke coming off of it. once you see it just start to let off smoke keep lighting it and suck very slowly

OK, Ive got the vaporizer down, thanks. The main prob was I used a clouded bulb, so I couldn't see what was going on inside.
Tell me more about this infernal volcano contraption.

got 1 mate and they are the balls , i hgave mine 3 years now and i will never part with it , if it breaks it has a 5 year warrenty and after the 5 years i will deffo send it back to get fix , best money i have ever spent.
