Supper Cropping?
I love supper cropping... who wants to come over for supper [cropping] tonight?
Seriously the definition of supercropping with which I am familiar is this:
Essentially a perpetual-crop system with all things being maximized to fit the most biomass in the least space.
Ideally works in a greenhouse where LIGHT is also unlimited.
Allow plants to get fairly rootbound at each step.
Seedlings start in very tiny cells.
They grow to 3-4 nodes in the cells and come out as a plug of roots.
Then they go into a 3x3deep square pot until they are too rootbound for that, at about 10 nodes (I skip that step)
Then they get pinched to grow side shoots.
Then into a 4.5x4.5 deep square pot where they can be forced to bush out a little.
Then into gallon pots ( I skip these too) and begin flowering soon after.
Then into 3 gallon pots to finish.
The idea is never to waste any light by letting it hit the medium, only leaves. The canopy must be uninterrupted for this to happen.
You can get the most plants in the least square feet of floor space this way.

Supper Cropping?
"Super Cropping Technique
Another method of topping is called xSuper Cropping’. By taking a branch between your forefinger and thumb you can gently crush the branch, causing it to develop multiple branches above the crushed area. You must crush it on the correct side or risk breaking the branch. Just squeeze lightly until you feel the branch give, then let go. If it gives easily then you have crushed it on the correct side. If it is hard to crush and the branch splits then you have chosen the wrong side. Practice makes perfect with Super Cropping.
Super Cropping should be carried out during the second or third week of vegetative growth and does stunt the plant. You should also note that plants that are Super Cropped can remain in the vegetative growth stage for twice as long as normal but the end result is a very bushy plant with multiple node regions that should all produce bud. Many growers have thrown Super Cropped plants away because they believed that the plants were not flowering in time. If you Super Crop your plants make sure that you have the patience to wait until the process is finished which — usually about four to six more weeks of vegetative growth."
There ya go that's from the link that treetops provided
My definition is actually a pretty traditional one that is applied to vegetable and flower crops. There was a great article about it in a recent issue of Maximum Yield, within the last year, bu tI don't remember which.

Supper Cropping?
I tried cutting (super cropping) a few of mine at 6 weeks. A few of them came back normal looking, the better ones that looked like many, many tops were forming, ended being male. I'll try again next grow.
