the rarest thing I've heard of circumcision is some boys loose thier entire penises from the procedure, do to an infection. This came from from a very anti-cut person, so i don't want to lend it truth.

HOWEVER, when it comes to the sensitivity issue, MANY OF YOU ARE IN DENILE. Let's analyze something:

Fact: the foreskin has TONS of nerve endings, and nerve endings are where feeling comes from (your elbow has less nerves, hence, u can't feel much there). Hence removing the foreskin would take away the ability for you to FEEL the same thing that i could. IT'S PURE LOGIC!!!!


FURTHERMORE, your head is more leathery (for back of a better word) than mine, guaranteed; look to my former post for a qualifying example.

Many, though not all, circumsized men will never admit that there penises can not feel the same thing as ours. This is because men will never tell others that they're wrong about anything b/c this shows that they're weak (I'm grossly over simplyfing here; just look up male gender ideology and you'll understand what I'm talking about and I'm too lazy to talk about it).

FURTHERMORE, i like how many men here say, "there's no sensitivity lost when circumsized", YET they will ALSO say that circumsized men last longer. HMMM?????? One of these reasons disqualifies the others and vice versa. THE UNFORTUNATE FACT IS THAT men in America are uncomfortable with the fact that there might be something wrong (bad word choice, but you get what i'm trying to say) with them AND that they COULDN'T DO ANYTHING TO CONTROL IT. Masculinty is based on POWER: power over females and power over males. If you don't have control over your own life decisions, especially in relation to the one thing that DEFINES him as a male, you are gonna feel something inside of you that you don't wanna feel; you will supress this thought. A MALE NEVER WANTS TO DOUBT HIMSELF--lack of power = lack of masculinty.

1. My dick and everyone I know who is circumsized (almost everyone) has never fallen off or started to rot due to an infection. I have never heard of that even happening. Yes quintuplets happen too, but I ain't never seen any.

2. If you are saying that my dick isn't sensitive...you are incorrect. And there is nothing 'leathery' about my dick.

3. Yes bad word choice. If you are saying that I am in denial about my being circumsized you are dead wrong. I would never want to be anything but circumsized. I would honestly probably be unhappy with an uncircumsized penis. You are also insane if you think I have suppressed thoughts because I am not a 'whole' man. I remember once on the news there were many law suits in florida about the doctors using unclean equipment or doing the circumcision wrong. The babys would lose their penis and then the doctors would then ask the parents if they wanted him to turn the boys into girls since the penis was gone. The doctors would say that if he was a girl (penis made into a vagina), he would have a better life. That shit is sad man, if I ever have a son, he is going uncut. No doubt about it...

Only when I feel like it. Not for society purposes necassarily but rather for personal preferences. However, shaving is not permanent, not painful...and it's my choice to do it.

Circumcision is cutting off apart of your penis for social purposes. The only reason to do it is for religion purposes or for you to fit better into society. Otherwise it's completly obscured in this day and age.

I don't believe we should change something we are born with, if it didn't serve a purpose it wouldn't be there. I am glad that circumcision is becoming less and less common, I think it's ridiculous. We were all just socialized to believe that you aren't normal if you aren't circumcised, and that circumcision is how it's supposed to be. I just can't seem to grasp the fact that people aren't understanding that it's you! It's apart of you, it's how you were born....it's natural...it was never meant to be cut off.

I guess I really can't seem to make anyone think otherwise, so to each their own...but if I ever have a son I won't even have to think twice about making the decision NOT to circumcise.
