i think he might be telling you the truth.
Dealers dont want other to know when they will be gone for a while for many reasonsing. Empty houses are enticing for those who arent the most honest clientele.
I also think that if he were working with the police that he would be asked to go after those who sold to him. Sorta like the domino effect. Users are a dime a dozen. Dealer have the house, the cars, the prperty, the bank accounts, etc etc that all can be confiscated if one gets caught dealing. Thats who the cops want.
If you are uneasy with your dealer, find another one. They are all over the place.
