He totally blew me off and like virtually disappeared for over 2 weeks....not a phone call, text or any explanation. I thought he got busted - he always gets back to me and this is very unlike him. So anyway, yesterday he texts me out of the blue saying that he just got back from vacation (for 2 weeks???) and to let him know if I need (no explanatation or apology or Rating: 5

Couldn't he be trying to lessen his sentence/fines, etc. by trying to set-up other people and getting them busted for buying?

when you get busted by the cops for selling. if you try to make a plea bargain to reduce your sentence. The DA would want someone bigger not a couple users buying ounces...plus they would get him back on the streets right away.....not two weeks. don't be alarmed unless he asks to meet you at a set time at a set place.....just wait for him to tell you where to meet...agrea to it. then call him back at the last minute and meet somewhere else if he goes for it cool...if not your being set up.

Cops aren't gonna do a huge elaborate sting on some guy trying to buy an ounce or less. They consider you to be a victim, someone they're trying to protect.

Depending on where you live you won't get arrested. My friend just got out of court with 15 grams posession (this is in NY) and he didn't get any fines (except some lawyer feers) and he didn't even get probation.

If it helps your peace of mind, my regular guy is also a stoner so his memory is always all fucked up. he'll say he'll call me at 6 and i won't get a call till the next afternoon, ya know?

during the 2 weeks, did you try to contact him at all? or did you not want to call him because he blew you off?

LOL!!!Very funny.The cops DO NOT consider small time buyers to be victims.They are fair targets for arrest and harrassment just like the dealers.Just they usually aren't worth the trouble to prosecute.Doesn't mean a cop or DA with a hard on for you WON'T make the effort to fuck with you.

go with a couple people...that way if you get caught in a sting the amount of pot will be so low cause there will be a couple people to pin it on...it wont ever go to trial...if one guy gets busted with an ounce..could be a problem but say three people get caught up by the cops and a bag is found if know one claims it..they might try to pin it on everyone. then the charge would be possesion of a little more than a quarter for three people..that wont get you in trouble
