haven't smoked for about 10 days now. i'm pretty sure i'm going to be tested for a job, but that has not been confirmed yet. i have a bottle of xxtra clean. i used to smoke about every day, but i've only smoked 2 or 3 times since dec 21. i also had a medical candy bar on xmas, but i think it was a pretty weak one. anything else i should do? i'm a bigger guy...6'3" about 250.

I'm in pretty much the same boat as this guy... I smoked about every day but only about 1/4 Oz a week. I haven't smoked in 9 days but Imma have a test.... I've been drinking loads of water and taking niacin... any other quick fixxes to make it that I hopefully pass.... I'm about 180lbs and 6'.

Honestly, at this point, I'd suggest substitution at this point for you both. I was STILL pissing dirty according to tests at the 24 day clean point after only about a bowl a day, not even an eighth a week. I only weigh 150 lbs, and I'm 5'10". I managed to pass my test with the dilution method, but I had gone longer than both of you without smoking at that point, was on the border line, so it wasn't quite as risky.

Get yourselves some home drug test kits from CVS Pharmacy. They're about $15 a pop, just to see where you stand. Other than that, read the stickied posts on substitution... I think they might be your best chance at this point. You could read up on the dilution sticky... it might work for you, as well, though with your body size, I'd suggest substitution at this point.

ScrewedSDan - Your body size and time smoking is actually quite a bit different than linedpaper's, so you probably want to start your own thread on the topic.
But, FYI, drinking gallons of water every single day isn't going to clean you out any faster. The leftovers from THC are stored in your fat cells, and you're not going to burn that fat by drinking water. The whole water thing is only good for test day, and all it does is dilute your pee. Give up the water for now, unless you're doing a dilution test run with a home test kit. Otherwise, you might make yourself sick.

I agree with Greendove that substitution is the way to go. If you are an everyday smoker, any of your "detox products" will tell you that you need to be clean for 2 weeks before the test. I have always used Quick Fix, just because I don't like messing with the dehydrated urine, and that is the only premade that you can reheat everyday.

it's been 10 days thus far, and i'm going out of town tomorrow so i have the weekend as well adding some more time. plus the last time i did have some it was only 2 times in that whole week so it really has been 2 weeks. i'd rather not do substitution, last time i was tested they pat me down and made me take off my shoes.

If you will have had two weeks at that point, then you might want to look at the dilution thread, instead of drinking any magic potions. There is a lot of good information in there, and it helped me to pass my test. (I'm a skinny woman, didn't smoke that much, and was still pissing dirty on home tests after over three weeks).

If you try dilution, make sure you give yourself a test run. Start taking Creatine supplements right now, if you're going to be tested after the weekend. I'll say it again... buy home drug tests from a pharmacy (CVS if you have them), and see what you've got to do to your body in order to piss clean before the day of the drug test. Then, duplicate the exact same thing on test day. Save one last home piss test to take right before you walk out the door on test day, and it will make you feel a LOT more confident.

Are people still doing that routine of drinking a bunch of water and taking a vitamin pill shortly before having to go on test day? I thought that usually made dilution workable because the vitamins prevented the result from being indicated as such.

All the vitamins do is give it some color back. They also test specific gravity and creatinine levels in your urine usually, so you've got to compensate for that, as well.

If this is actually true, the collector is breaking the law. Clinic personnel are not authorized to frisk or touch you in any matter! Thats the job of persons connected with law enforcement and the legal system. Since you were taking a drug test for a job, and not a criminal being placed under arrest, unauthorized frisking constitutes groping by law. You should have contacted your States Attorneys Office regarding that incident.

Well, yes and no. If you go to a concert or board a plane, you can expect to be patted down at the entrance to some extent. They're obviously not going to go after your junk, but they will feel your pockets, around your waistband, and anywhere non-personal that you might be able to stash something. They can also ask you to take off your shoes. Law enforcement are the only folks who can forcibly frisk you, but everything else is voluntary. You "volunteer" to be frisked coming into a concert by trying to get in. You can opt out of your frisk by skipping the concert. The same works with drug testing clinics, in that, if you don't want to be frisked, you have the "option" of not taking the drug test, and therefore, not getting the job. Unfortunately, it's all semantics.
