This is interesting, I first found out about Flash on a website called Newgrounds where various Flash animations are submitted for everyone to watch for free. Unlike many, I was more interested in making these rather than just watching them.

I got Flash and started fiddling around with it and had a of of fun. Anyway, I got pretty good at it and I soon found out about a Flash based community called the Clock Crew which was a group of animators who submit movies about fruits or other inanimate objects that have clocks for faces. It's very interesting, some people hate the Clock Crew and other people love them. Members of the Clock Crew call themselves "Clocks" and they get to choose what they want to be. The first Clock was Strawberry Clock.

Anyway, after a while there was a great deal of hate directed at the Clock Crew, so much in fact a new group formed called the Lock Legion. They made animations just like the Clock Crew only with keyhole faces to annoy them. However, they have made peace with each other and continue to make these movies.

I am in this "Lock Legion" as well. They know me as "Kumquat Lock" in the group. Feel free to check out animations by individual authors or collaborative projects in the Lock Legion collection.
