It's quite funny actually that guys tend to say they prefer the natural look on a girl, so I can't quite understand why girls bang on so much make up? I actually don't think it's all to do with men making them insecure, I personally think it's solely down to their own problems. I would try to go into a lot more detail but can't think of the words to use for my statement, hopefully someone else will understand what I'm saying and expand on it.

well it is partially to do with men making them insecure, they get less attention because theyre less attractive. So.. makeup = attractive = attention = self confidence / security [which is false really cause theyre wearing a mask].. but in modern society the mask becomes the person cause its so easy have [makeup cost, application].
Is also to do with comparing themselves to other women, piiish.

No way, I much prefer my misses without make up. Don't get me wrong she looks real good with it on, but still looks real good with out it.

I don't think it is so much to do with men though. A man can sit and honestly say to his wife/girlfriend she looks perfect without make up, or that her weight is honestly fine but she will still attempt to look more attractive. Women in relationships are very much my prime example. They have another half but yet they still try so hard to look good. It's almost as if it's just to compete with other women. I really don't think men are so much to blame, or certainly not as much as people may think.

I think most if not all of those pictures are fakes if not then the make up must have been done by professionals but on the first link all the pictures look like they have been photoshoped becuase their heads are different shapes and stuff.
