Yeah, what HiProGlow said. The only thing you can tell by a plant is whether it is mostly sativa, indica or what, based on the way it grows and leaf shape. Other than that, unless you actually know where the seeds came from, it is completely impossible to tell what a plant is.

If not, after you plant them how soon can you tell? Can you ever tell? I'm only asking cause my buddy just planted 4 bag seeds, 1-2 of them he said was some dank. They are barely sprouting so there's nothing to distinctive. Although one of the sprouts has a dark purple color to it. is that normal or is it a hint at things to come? Thanks. Rating: 5
