I'd love emo kids if they didn't follow some dumb trend, be attention whores, and act sad for no reason.

Exactly, they don't, thats only labels. Of course there are some, but not only emos.

From another point of view, emos could be all the sad kids of any style. People that dress like emos but aren't emos aren't scene kids or fakes or wtv, they're just kids that wear whatever they like.

I do dress ''like an emo'' (I'm not a dude btw) most of the time and im not all depressed. And I'm not a scene kid, that's for sure. I think its just the term ''emo'' that's causing problems.

And theres another thing I noticed: I know people of all styles pretty much, and they're all the same, except for music and clothes. We all smoke weed don't we?

yes! the way i see it is all the people bashing 'emos' right now could possible be hypocrites. For example, i have a feeling a lot of people on these forums are white suburban kids who listen to rap, talk with izzies for shizzes, and have absolutely no idea how it would feel to be poor or live in the intercity. I have no problem with this because, well you are who you are.

My point with this is, it doesn't matter how your dress or act for that matter. Honestly, all these people who think 'emos' look dumb with all there black, probably look equally dumb in other peoples minds. "those damn wiggers in there baggy cloths," something that might come from an 'emo' kid. What some of you need to realize is that everyone is going to be different, follow different trends, act different ways, and because of this, there is absolutely no need to put them down for it. Or think less of them. You are not superior because you chose to buy cloths from the gap instead of hot topic.

Of course, in some ways i am a libertarian, so just do what ever i guess, i just wanted to get my point across, ya dig?
