Don't give your herb any water while you're curing, they'll be wicking moisture out of the stems and bud mass, just let your jars sit open for about half an hour a day to help the remaining moisture evaporate. If your jars smell real strongly of ammonia, remove some of the herb, so that there is more air space in the jar. You don't want to pack it in there. Just be patient. Dry enough to keep you smoking at a respectable level for a month, and leave the rest the hell alone, other than letting the jars breathe.
