organic soil vs system?
i read in a book that there is a difference between growing with organic nutrients and growing with organic soil. is there truly a difference? and if so could anyone provide some clarification? im kinda confused. i havent grown as of yet but ive done a lot of reading and i was thinking of going organic for my first grow. on that note, i thought of growing sweet tooth, sensi star, and some strain of diesel (maybe nyc?) are these good ones to start with, how are the yields, like i said i did some research and tons of reading but i still couldnt find much definitive info on these strains... i would be growing indoors. thanx.

With organic soil or any soil it is the medium in which the plant grows, roots and lives, the organic nutes are the foods that you feed the plant threw its different stages according to the stage of the plants life cycle.

those are good strains, specially sensi star, but its not worth getting them if you havent grown before, get some bagseed or something for your first grow, then when you get good at it, buy the seeds...
organic growing is the way to go for flavour, and as you want to grow sweet tooth nyc diesel and sensi star, i suggest you get into organic growing...
good luck

I agree that no one should chance good seeds if you have not grown before.
Practice makes perfect unless you're AI.
(what are we talking about? we're talking about practice?, practice? is that what we're talking about? Practice?)

so if i grow in soil i could either make an organic soil mix OR just add nutes via a tea (adding it into water right?) throughout the grow correct?

The best results are going to come from using addatives/water feeding along with a good soil mix. See, your plant will have different stages in its life and will be able to use things at 5 weeks that it couldn't use at 2 weeks so if you know the plants life cycle you can feed it the appropriate nutes at the right time. You could mix a soil full of all kinds of goodies, but it would be like giving a baby a plate with baby food, hotdogs, steaks and corn on the cob, though all the foods are edable, not all of the foods are usable by the baby at that point.
