    Confused About Correct PH

ok i'm confused over what the PH should ideally be?
I read on a thread PH should be 5.5 - 6.5, i've been watering at a PH of 6, and i've just read somewhere cannabis plants like a neutral PH of 7.
Can someone please let me know what i should be aiming for as i don't wanna be hurting the plants.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can give me some advice

    Confused About Correct PH

ph is often different depending on whether you are growing in soil or hydro, in hydro a range of 5.5 -6.0 is maintained in soil a range of 6.5 to 7.0 is usually maintained.

yeh, I believe you want to get it higher though I do not use soil - I use a soil-less mix. I aim for my ph to be right around 6.0

    Best of luck!

I am curious .... I've never heard of a soil-less mix ... I've heard the advantages of hydro, but what are the advantages of soil-less over soil ....

    Confused About Correct PH

Ph is one of the most important issues about growing and getting right is a matter of survival for your plants. There is a chart in the FAQ section you should DL to your desk top. It will give you the Ph range of available nutrients for the plant. That way you match the Ph to the cycle of life the plant is in and the style of growing.

You are correct that some strains will want higher Ph then others but that is because of the available nutrients that they require not because of anything else.

The chart will help you more then posting questions every time.

Thanks yeag I hope to have more shows out of the recording studio this year. I want to go on the road and meet people and chat with them. Maybe tour some grow opps and talk about what and how they grow.

This year I declare this is the year of the home grower and I want to help the all grow the best quality they can.
