Confused About Correct PH
ok i'm confused over what the PH should ideally be?
I read on a thread PH should be 5.5 - 6.5, i've been watering at a PH of 6, and i've just read somewhere cannabis plants like a neutral PH of 7.
Can someone please let me know what i should be aiming for as i don't wanna be hurting the plants.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can give me some adviceJust A Beginner Reviewed by Just A Beginner on . Confused About Correct PH ok i'm confused over what the PH should ideally be? Confused About Correct PH
ph is often different depending on whether you are growing in soil or hydro, in hydro a range of 5.5 -6.0 is maintained in soil a range of 6.5 to 7.0 is usually maintained.

Confused About Correct PH
yeh, I believe you want to get it higher though I do not use soil - I use a soil-less mix. I aim for my ph to be right around 6.0
Best of luck!

I am curious .... I've never heard of a soil-less mix ... I've heard the advantages of hydro, but what are the advantages of soil-less over soil ....

Confused About Correct PH
Ph is one of the most important issues about growing and getting right is a matter of survival for your plants. There is a chart in the FAQ section you should DL to your desk top. It will give you the Ph range of available nutrients for the plant. That way you match the Ph to the cycle of life the plant is in and the style of growing.
You are correct that some strains will want higher Ph then others but that is because of the available nutrients that they require not because of anything else.
The chart will help you more then posting questions every time.
