    Howdy Closet Drifter,

I don't know much about hydro, but I do know, that you can buy liquid bloom ferts at your local wal-mart or someplace similar,I'm not sure if it would be acceptable for your bubbler or not..hopefully some who does know..can weigh in on this thread, and let us both know...lol. Don't go rushing out and git any just because of me !

    Have a good one...Torog

if you need blooming ferts, go to your local home depot or lowes and buy some ORCHID BLOOM ferts. it works well. is cheap, and is as good as any manufactured hydro bloom, with one exception, and that is advanced nutrients bloom formula

    Howdy notanovice,

Thanx for replying to this thread-I'd hate to give out bad advice..lol. I had a pretty good feeling that something would work as a substitute, just wasn't quite sure,I know that one does have to worry about particulates and total disolved solids, in some hydro set-ups,I just figured that it wasn't so critical in a bubbler set-up.

Well,I wish I could got to the chat-room and holler at ya,but my honey is awake and she's fixin to make me some S.O.S for breakfast..Yeeehhhaaww !! Btw,after the other morning,my sweetie-pie made me a cheese omlette..yeeehhhaaawww !! Tell heart for the good idea ! ...lol.

    Have a good one..Torog

Oh yeah. Check out these leaves. On the tops of a few of my shoots the fingers are 90* down.It doesnt look droopy because all the leaves are real firm and there not the highest shoots either so I dont think its heat???hhhhmmm

    pics of the leaves

they look fine, most leaves will look like that, a little droopy, the root mass looks really good too. dont worry too much about those droopy leaves unless they really start to droop bad.
start the ferts off with about a 50% strength, for a few days, then work your way up from there. that should give you an idea on how much to use

Thanx NotaNovice. I think the bottle said 1/2 a teaspoon per gal. so Ill try 1/4 per gal.
Im also going to try to clone it today .Ill keep you guys updated on how that goes......

well the clones went well(Ill have pics later tonight) but my slimy roots came back plus all my fan leaves half way up the tree(bottom to top) are really droopy.the slime came over night.yesterday was my first night of 12/12.other then that the only factor that changed was my fert.Im using Schultz Expert Gardener Bloom Plus.It said to use 1/2 teaspoon per gal. so I used 1/4 teaspoon per gal.here is the nut. analysis
    N.........5%
    Ammoniacal N..5%
    P205.........30%
    iron........0.10%
    Mn........0.05%
    Zn.........0.05%
the only reason for the droopy leaves and slime that I can think of is that fert................... any help would be much app.

    thanx Closet drifter
