When quitting smoking after I've been smoking daily I have insomnia, loss of appetite, and irritability for a couple of days. The insomnia often lasts much longer.

Of course this is nothing when compared with withdrawals from other substances, but this doesn't mean that weed isn't addictive.

If you would like me to find the research I can, but you all should know how to use google.
I have been smoking for about 8 years and I have not experienced any kind of physical withdraws whatsoever. Although weed can be psychologically addictive in the mind and can become a habit, there is no credible evidence supporting addiction or withdraws. If it was addictive, it would be ironic because cannabis is sometimes used to treat alcohol addiction and hard drug addiction. I can only go on by what I have experienced and as I have said, I have never experienced an "addiction" to weed. I don't smoke as much as I used to and I am not addicted in any way. I can stop smoking anytime I wanted.
