For the past few months my mom's been preaching to me about how my sister's been saying she's going to move into her boyfriends house when she turns 18 (March 24th). I used to just laugh about how she'd be back in a few days after she realizes how much she hates it, and make fun of her about how she's going to have some DARK ass little kids (we look White but you wouldn't know we were half Mexican unless we told you). Her boyfriend's a fucking dark paisa (the Mexican equivalent to White trash), 20 years old and he still lives with his parents. My mom started preaching to me again today and I told her to just send her into the Marines (I'm going to boot camp on Monday so I need to convince her before then) or something, my older sister's been trying to get her to go into the Navy. At least there she'll get money for college, signing bonuses, and a chance to get the fuck out of the house, and a little direction. The thing is, she just sits on the fucking couch and watches tv ALL FUCKING DAY! I guess she thinks it'll be a free ride if she moves in with him. I don't know what to do with her. If this is what she wants, I'm not going to stop her. How do I convince her to want something better out of life?
