c tbh i do this and so do all of my friends as it does taste really horrible, but i use a bong like once a month if that, there not my thing much rather a joint.

Thats what im like, i only really smoke joints. I only get my bong out once a month. Sometimes even longer than that.

say you got a big bong and burn the bowl too long and cant clear it, start coughing before you can clear it. that smoke gets left in the tube for a minute or so. that smoke will be some nasty sickening shit.

i do the same thing. we call it chimmneying, when you blow through the female piece and a puff of stale smoke comes out through the top. it tastes like shit cause it has gathered some of the flavor of the bong water when it is just sitting on it for a minute.

ok, a minute or something i can see it getting raunch, but if you have a cough attack, cover it and pass to your friend, it wont get "disgusting" in two seconds or it woudl get disgusting as you fill it, use your head here folks.

I smoke alotta bong.... and I have never once noticed this. Then again, I don't leave it for a minute either. I just blow out, maybe cough a little depending how big a hit it was, and then clear the chamber. That's weird.
