Quitting Marijuana

It seemed to me like you tried to stop smoking while you still have pot in your posession. Smoke all your shit up and then try and remove anything and everything that has to do with bud from your life. If your not looking/around it all the time you might not crave it.

Cheers for all the help guys. The general concensus is that if im keeping busy then it'll be easy. What if everything I do, i associate with smoking a spliff? I play a bit of keyboard, but i always smoke when im playing, im doing an english degree, but i always have a spliff with a book, etc etc. The thing is about smoking what I've got and then just not buying anymore, would be fine except for one thing..

I'm living back with my parents to save some money while im in uni. My parents smoke as much, if not more weed than I do. They've always got pot, and never go without. If i'm stuck, or craving, all i have to do is go downstairs and it's all there for me.

I think i'm just gonna try and keep it to the evenings and weekends. As long as i dont smoke before i go to uni i'll be fine doing this. Still off the fags though! As an update on my shitty shitty life at the moment. I spoke to her yesterday, and they've been an item since it happened (5 weeks ago) and they're 'in love' and already 'happier than she ever was in the 12 months we were together'... Although she didnt tell me that quite as coldly as i told you. I've gotta go back to uni tomorrow and spend all day every day around her for the next fucking year and a half! Grrr. I wont be quitting weed just yet methinks.. =S

Cheers for the help though. A vapouriser sounds like the way to go. Any idea where I can buy them online for delivery in the UK? I've never even seen one of these things..

People who are addicted to alcohol have a problem called alcoholism. I don't neccesarily consider my use of cannabis a problem,but rather something that i enjoy. Maybe however, I enjoy smoking weed a bit too much? Since I was about 18, I have thrown myself into a heavy cannabis usage. Why would you want to quit smoking buds. It's the cigs that are ruining your singing voice, some singers choose pot to help with their voice. If your really think it's the buds, try glass or vape instead of paper.

Acctually weed is fairly easy to quit. I can stop for like a month or so and then start right back up again like nothing. after 3 days sober its easy to not smoke pot
