Mixing in Nutrients
I'm sure what the person meant was he/she mixes them into a jug that already has mostly water in it, because you should NEVER mix nutes raw!
I also have a 10 gallon system, and what I do is measure the Micro, dump it in while stirring. Then I measure up the Bloom and dump it in while stirring. And if I'm also adding Grow I measure it up then dump it in then stir. I use a long rigid plastic tube for the stirring.
I have a water pump in the res that constantly "stirs" as well as drips/streams to my growing tub. Thats how I do it anyway and it seems to work out just fine.MisterE Reviewed by MisterE on . Mixing in Nutrients When I get ready to add my nutrients whats the proper way? I have Advanced Nutirients Micro, Grow, Bloom 3 part system. I have read that you need to add them separately. Then I have read a post where a grower said he adds all his nutes to a gallon jug and shakes it all up really good then adds. I know I will not need full strength at first. I know that AN has a site with reccomendations but I just wanted to see what you all had to say. There is roughly 10 gal of water in the res and its a top Rating: 5
