Purple veins on stem???
Well, the way it was explained to me, (and this guy's garden (the one who told me) is amazing - to put it lightly) was that: At The point where the stems turn purple, they are actually not benefitting the plant anymore (actually sucking more light and nutes away from buds) and wasting it on the leaves. some might disagree, i had always thought that the fan leaves "fed/supplied" the plant, but he told me that they take away from the plant _or what you want it to be doing for you, once the stems turn purple, they pick off easier, maybe thats why??? All i know is if someone is successful, never do what they say, rather do what they Do.

Purple veins on stem???
a friend thats been growin for 15 years told me purple in your stems is usely a nitogen deficiency ,"pot plants are nitogen hogs" so a stole a glass full of pure nitogen my dad uses for his corn field, havnt had a problem sence.jus make sure you dont over do it or get it directly on the plant ,i usely put a 20 oz pop bottle cap full or more on top the soil 2 or 3 inches from the stalk every 3 or 4 weeks or when the plant looks light green ,in a day or 2 its nice and dark green
oh yeah nitogen needs water to work, the sun drys it out n it evaporates if you use it and it dont rain .
Strawberry cough is my new favorite medicine :stoned:
