QUICK DRYING In The OVEN
How much will that effect potency compared to the final cured product (in a week)? I can see how that would effect taste, what with chlorophyll levels, etc, but potency?
I've been chopping them up carefully into small bits with sharp scissors to not mash too much, and baking at the lowest heat with the oven door open for about 40 minutes.
Is the high I'm getting from popping popcorn buds in the oven roughly the same as the juicy, cured buds will be?faithlessxxx Reviewed by faithlessxxx on . QUICK DRYING In The OVEN
i did my oven samples with a peice of tin foil folded around it at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes.works best to chop the sample into small peices.
from mel franks' deluxe marijuana grower's guide..... "oven drying is often used by gardeners to sample their crop.small quantities of material can be quickly dried by being placed in a 150-200degree oven for about 10 minutes.it is an adequate method for obtaining dry material for testing and emergencies"As nicotine is an addictive substance, a regular tobacco user must maintain the level of this drug in the bloodstream in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms. As the concentration of nicotine in the bloodstream begins to fall - immediately after the last inhalation of smoke - a smoker will feel more and more uncomfortable. These withdrawal symptoms can only be relieved by taking in more nicotine - i.e. having another smoke.
And so it goes on - the vicious cycle of addiction.
