bad trips?

i'v been going to this site for a bit now and i have read so many storys about people having "Bad trips" on reefer, iv smoked pot for a while now and i have never seen or heard of any one having a "bad trip" untill i came on this site, from what ppl are saying it sounds like a bad shroom trip... does any one know why that happens or whats goin on with that?

Dude, I take it like people who carry on about how buzzed they are from having two cups of coffee. To them it is a big deal because they haven't experienced anything harder. I think if these folks had experienced a bad acid trip, they would be more subdued in their descriptions of "bad highs".

A bad trip on something hard can mess you up emotionally for the rest of your life. A bad "trip" on weed I think means somebody got a little scared while stoned. They just don't have anything bigger to compare it to. Nobody every got emotionally screwed up from weed. If there is an emotional problem, it was likely due to something else that was coincidental with their stoned experience.

I'm no shrink, this is just the opinion of someone who has done a lot of living. I am sure the people with the "bad trips" will argue with me.

That is true. If I get too high, and my head starts spinning a lot or I get a little paranoid, I dont consider it a bad trip...I never had a "bad" trip. Its just a part of smoking weed. However, I have friends who will bitch and moan for a whole week about how "bad" there trip was because they smoked too much. It gets really annoying and I keep telling them that weed isnt for them and that there better off smoking peanut skins or drinking energy drinks.

yeah i get what you mean but even people that have been toking for a while have had them and other than laced pot i cant see y it would happen..oh well

I've had a very bad trip using weed. It was a horrible experience, my head was spinning and everything is dizzy, i've had bad trips b4, but nothing like this one. I thought i was going to die. My friends said i was as white as a ghost it was a very scary experience that would def. cause a newby smoker to never do it again. Also i was with my friend during lunch and i had some chubbaca with my vap, and he freaked out and has vowed never to smoke again. The dif. between a bad weed trip and acid trip is that the bad weed trip will only last like 20 min and u'll forget about it a week later.

yeah but thats not really a bad trip, u just pulled a whiteym i use to get it all the time from smokeing hash, its just like when you drink to much you get sick.. well same deal with pot, whenever I feel like ur gonna pull a whitey i just ly lown and focuse on the celing, once lose the spins and shit im all better to toke again:rastasmoke:

They say when you have a bad trip on drugs, that you are actually entering into the lower astral realm where you attract negative entities. I don't mess with acid or any hard drugs. I would only touch natural entheogens like cannabis, mushrooms, and salvia. My theory is that when you have a bad trip on natural entheogens, that means it is revealing something to you. As Bob Marley said "when you smoke da herb, it reveals you to yourself".
