Can I start Adding Fertilsers yet?

    Hey guys,
it's been about 3 weeks since i started growing my plants, they're bagseed from a nice sativa dominant hybrid, anyways i got them under a shitty 75w flourecent light, since i have no money and this is an experimental grow, so the plants are at the stage where they're growing the fourth set of leaves and are growing really tall (4 inches) instead of bushing outwards, I know this is because of my shitty lights not being powerful enough, and they're also sativa, but is it too early for ferts yet, if they are ready can anyone recommend any good ferts which would increase foliage or the thickness of the stem because the stem is tall and thin.

P.S. sorry no pics, digital camera is fucked

yes your plants are ready for nutes 1/4 strentgh

earth juice is good and inexpensive around $30

to fix your stem prob try useing a fan lightly blowing on your plants it will make your stems stronger

Although this is a matter of debate, I tend to hold off until the 5th set of leaves before I add ferts and I think, considering your lighting, you should wait because under only one light your girl is going to grow a bit slower than normal. Good ferts formula to remember is that the N should be roughly equal to the sum of your P and K. Always give nutes at a quarter of the strength to begin with! Remember, it's better to give ferts a little later than to add them too soon. Like Smokin' said, add a fan to help with your stem. Peace.
Please trip them gently, they don\'t like to fall, oh by jingo. There\'s no room for anger, we\'re all very small, oh by jingo. We\'re painting our faces and dressing in thoughts from the skies, paradise, oh by jingo. Won\'t someone invite them? They\'re just taller children, that\'s all, afterall. Some march together and some on their own, quite alone. Others are running, the smaller ones crawl but some sit in silence, they\'re just older children, that\'s all.

dont buy earth juice, you will use that for FLOWERING not VEGATATIVE...

if i were you i wouldnt give them ferts, its far too early....YES it is 3 weeks into veg BUT under a light that weak i doubt their roots would be strong enough to handle it, they must still be obsorbing the soil's nutrients. Give it another week or two mate

earth juice makes a 3 part system consisting of vegitive formula a catelaste and a bloom formula i get it at the hydro store here for $9.99 each and what hiproglow said about nutes and slow growing plants is correct i did'nt think of that sry
