Anyhow, as to the question, for me masturbation has turned more into a 'tool' then pleasure like it use to be... Like if I know I'm going out on a date the next day I'll clean the pipes so I can enhance my cool... Or if I'm dating a girl and she is on her rag but we are going to be alone for the evening I'll knock one out before hand... Basically I like to keep my 'mojo' on a day to day bases to keep my 'energy' levels on the high but if I know it might get in the way I'll do a little self-maintenance.
