Very uneven territory you're walking on here since she is 15. I did the same though, I dated a girl who was 15 and I was 18. I didn't go near her once in a sexual way till after she was legal and both myself and her felt comfortable with it. We started seeing each other about 3 or 4 months away from her 16th birthday. Nice girl, didn't last long though I soon remembered how much I love my Ex/Current girlfriend.

We aren't talking about a 30 something or even a 20 year old dating a 15 year old... we're talking sex between 2 kids in high school... yeah. they are young, yeah, 15 year old girls are pretty vulnerable to the wiles of 'older' men, even older meaning like 17, but the 17-15 relationship or even 18-15 doesn't make you a sex offender and the laws were not written for them... but for old nasty dudes doinking lil girls. So since we are talking about high school sex, and you are calling another user who got caught in the technicality of that law a sex offender or pedophile or whatever, yes, that makes you insensitive.

Regardless of my point. Either you are a registered sex offender or not. Thats all I'm saying. And I am still on the hit it (but don't get caught) bandwagon. Crispix said something that would lead a person to believe that if the charges 'stuck' he would be on a list of registered offenders.

If you are caught then you are considered a sex offender. Then you can kick yourself for nailing a 15 year old when you knew better. Then people openly know that you are a sex offender.

My parents don't like it/don't know, but they can't do anything legal about it. I say go for it and if you're really paranoid about the sex thing just make it between you and her and don't tell anyone else. Or you can wait.
