Are there any other web designers who post here? I'm always interested in talking to others in my profession. It's also nice to have someone else to help me beta test or just give me an opinion (and i'm happy to do the same for you!)
My areas of expertise are:
HTML 4.0
PERL/CGI
PHP (not an expert, but very proficient)

nice to meet you
Are you pretty good with creating graphics from scratch? I usually will improvise with the graphics part of things... i'm more of a coding and a search engine optimization person, though I've gotten alot better with graphics over time. Usually, i like to buy graphics sets from designers and then modify them as needed, or even just hire someone on a "per project" basis to create specific graphics for me. Though I must say i've made some fairly nice looking stuff from scratch on occasion when the inspiration strikes.
I've also been playing around with flash lately and am getting pretty decent at it, but again, not making the graphics for the movies myself most of the time, so it's sometimes hard to find just what i'm looking for.

Don't need to know much code and it will help if you had some good code knowledge since you want to design. Its the future. Embrace Flash. Plus Flash video codecs are the shit. h.264 quality and smaller. Everybody has flash.
Hey Ihatespam how many years have you been working with php?
We need a programmer in the same situation as yourself, who possibly wants to excel the skills and get better quick. Let me know. I can do graphic sets or themes or custom jobs / animates. Looking to drive a php database from a flash player console.
Lots to learn in the project, lots to make too. Revolutionize a product that alot of people use today.
Lots of developing but i'm 3 years into a project and could use some programming on a small level, We can trade if you like.
