First Grow... 5 Fem Ice - 2 Fem BlackJack

Hey all ,

Sorry i did not update on friday was real busy at work and home. Here is the update of the girls.

Upped nutes on 1-11 to:

13ml Sensi Grow A
13ml Sensi Grow B
6ml B52
8ml fulvic

All values per gallon
PPM around 1000

All seem to love the additional nutes.


Been drinking around 1/2 to 3/4 gallon per day. Topping of with ph water every other day. Nute top off in between at 500 ppm until next res change on thurs. PPM with nute top off Around 800 - 950 depending on plant.

Is it normal to drink that much water/nutes per day? Temps 78F-82F - RH 30-40%

Much much branching.

Attempted cloning today and took 5 cuttings from Izzy and 5 from Piper
( pic 1 and Pic 2)

Using bubble cloner will post pic after dinner.

Still projecting feb 1 switch to flower. Hope growth doesn't explode due to
48" finished product grow space . thats from top of bucket to top of plant with 12-18" between plant and light.

Why are my girls not normal looking? They are like bushes not the standard straight up.

One more thing How much more can I up the nutes without damage to the plants?

I wouldn't worry about how much H2O they are 'drinking' as long as they are healthy.

*chuckle* I keep tellin' ya: Bushy plants are good. Some strains (esp. indica) just tend to be that way. The fact that you have good lighting means they don't have to stretch (grow long stems) to reach the light, and this helps to keep them compact. Do you want them to waste their energy growing lots of stems? Ya can't smoke those, and they don't convert light to growth like the leaves do.

As for upping your nutes, I haven't used that brand, so I can't give you an exact measure. Some people recommend upping them gradually each day until you see tip burn (from over-nute), then stopping/backing off slightly. Just watch your PPMs and pH if you do this. And be careful not to overload them with N... This will make them look all dark green and healthy, but eventually it will slow their growth, and might even turn them male.

the big leaves and compact nodes are great for you, more room for flowering. it appears you've hit the nute level jackpot. my last grow was like that, i fed every watering...

You both ROCK !!!!! I have read alot before I even started and for your comments I really appreciate it as you are well known around the cannabis.com community. I have read alot of your posts and advice you have given others and for this I THANK-YOU and everyone at cannabis.com the number one source for cannabis information.( enough of the mushy stuff ) Yeah stinky first ever grow.

Mini update on Izzy pics 1 & 2 ( now 32 days old from seed 30 from sprout )

She showed little signs at tips of over nute but caught immediately and topped rez with ph water only and doing fine. Was feeding at aprox. 1000ppm
Will change all res. Friday and run around 900ppm

She may be showing signs of gender preflower possible ( see pic 3) Pic isn't great but what I see is a little pear shaped bump with 2 white hairs. I also see next to it the spikes or stipules.

Also took 5 cuttings from her on sunday 1-14 ( pic 4 at 2 days old )
Rockwool soaked in ph water 5.8 with 3ml B52 and 3ml fulvic acid values are per gallon.
Using bubbler with dome ( see pic 5 ) humidity around 70% temps 85F
No rooting additives

Started lst on her yesterday and she likes to stretch her legs. or her legs stretched.

Stinky just hopeing for green bud to match thumbs and toes
