    mouldy weeeed...

Hi guys am new here and i agree with 99% of what all are saying but cannabis is not 100% safe or harmless. I know it dont kill brain cells and all the other propaganda thats dished out but it does contain a high amount cancer causing (carcinogenics) chemicals not as many as tobacco i might add but still the risk is there. Just my 2ps! nothing is 100% harmless.

You're right. There are carcinogens (sodium laureth sulfate for example) in shampoo and soap; meanwhile, the products which contain these substances are not illegal.

You dont smoke shampoo or soap!

I dont think it should be illegal and i dont like that it is seen to be more harmful than alcohol but its not totaly harmless thats all i am saying. I know i have smoked tonnes of the stuff and i had to stop for a while cuz i was smoking over 1oz a week on my own, now i dont even smoke that a month. If i had continued it would have been oxygen bottle at the front door in no time.

Welcome to the board Ithcy. I knew what you were saying. I was just stating that other products that aren't consumed inside your body have the same ill effects. For God sakes, I hope no one smokes shampoo, but I heard that shit f*cks you up!

    Nah. Just kidding.

I used to be the same way. I'd smoke a half oz of dank each week, now I'm probably down to a gram or two a week. If you play any sports or do any cardio activity, you probably don't have too much to worry about with your lungs.

I think it's going to be a long time before we see (if we are even lucky enough in our generation) complete decriminalization for cannabis. Which is too bad. There are numerous effects its medicinal properties can heal but without proper study and factual representation we’ll never know it’s full potential.

My personal opinion regarding the illegalization is:

All substances subsidized by the government are addictive (medications, alcohols, and tobacco); however, pot is not addictive. If a party does not develop a dependency to a substance, what will keep the consumer coming back for more? If the consumer does not NEED the substance, how will the company generate revenue? If a company is not generating revenue, how will the government be able to collect income tax? They won’t. If a substance such as pot which is easily cultivated and inexpensive to produce is made legal, how will the government benefit from this operation? They won’t.

    Another theory I have…

The governments are afraid that weed will pacify their people. If people are peaceful, they won’t fight for their country. If there is no fighting, there is no progress. Without progress society will fall apart.

However, all this is pure speculation from another “criminal pot head”… albeit from an honor student in High School and a Dean’s list student in college… but what do I know?

I’m a Caucasian from the good ol’ U.S. of A., and for a country that was founded on the immigration of the white people, we had the nerve to outlaw a plant in the early 19th century because minority (most notably Mexican) immigrants (that heard of the great new life in the United States) were notorious for smoking reefer while working in the agricultural fields, and we thought we could disparage their “laziness” or possibly discourage their immigration into the country if we criminalized the substance in question. Knowing the facts, I cannot, with a good-conscience, hold this law in high regard because of it’s racial prejudice. We do not abide by “Jim Crowe Laws” anymore; therefore, I cannot accept this so called law.

Until the day comes where pot is decriminalized, I’ll be considered a criminal… although I will not hurt a single individual with my hobby.
one thing I wanted to see before I died was the decriminalisation of marijuana...I guess it will never happen
WTF?!? ur all just gonna accept defeat that easy? whats the point of basically telling yourself not to fight for your rights because you have already lost...

i thought when i joined this site there were ppl out there who wanted to make changes, all ive seen so far is people argueing between themselves about weed... which, lets face it, gets us nowhere...

i dunno about all you guys but i for one am gonna try my hardest to change things, and whether im alone or not, at least i know im contributing to a change which is extremely important for the future, and nevertheless, a change i believe in....

Id rather live my life fighting for what i believe is right, than die in regret for what i could have changed about the world....

Yes, but there is no direct link between heavey cannabis use over a long period of time and ANY form of cancer, so i wouldnt worry. No one has ever died, people out there smoke tons... and dont die. So i wouldnt worry.

Infact cannabis can control some cancers [stopping the speading] and for all we know, it could be a cure.

But your right, nothing is harmless. You can OD on so many things, the most unkown one is probably water. Some people dont belive me... tbh i dont acre, their the ignorant morons, but yeah, hardly anything is harmless.

But as far as im concerned cannabis is, i've been smoking for a long time, and i've ben smoking large amounts and it's never done anything bad to me, not even a cough.

Ahhh, it's a shame none of thats actually true. It's not happening in other countries, it's happening in England. Concidering over 90% of our skunk is homegrown i cant see how anyone could seriously think that its all comming in from abroad. There's too many myths about it now.

I dont belive it's fiber glass, more likely to be a grit, maybe not sand, but im almost positive it's not fiberglass, although IF it is then yes, it's very bad for you.

I work with fiber glass every day of the week [im a boat builder]

But look at it this way.

Good dealers should also be friends with their customers. They shouldnt buy this sandy weed to sell on, it's not fair on the customers. So if you dealer is buying sandy weed and selling it he doesnt care about you, he just cares about how much money he can get.

If you get sandy weed, shake it off, and dont buy from that dealer again. I thought it was starting to clear up but obviously not.

Luckily i havnt had to smoke it yet. Well, i never will.

But you said in an earlier thread that you got some and shook it most of it off so it was alright? Or am i getting confused?

Im sure it does shake off. You might have to really give it one to get it off but im sure most of it will come off.

Otherwise i'd say water cure. The grit will sink, the plant matter will be cleaner to smoke and the THC doesnt get affected.

But, we shouldnt have to be put through this. Why should we? We sghould be able to buy good normal weed without having to worry.

This is what our government does for us... dont you just want to slit their throats..
