If cannabis is so harmless would you let your children smoke it?

In fact if its so harmless why not introduce them to it at an early age then there is less chance of them getting addicted to cigs!!

Not one person got my point hense me being a little pissed off !

My parents introduced me to cannabis at 13 on the condition that i never went drinking! I couldnt thank them more. It didnt help me stay away from cigs but i still dont drink!

I am not posting annoying rants just because i dont agree or believe in some of your statements. You said you dont have tolerance when it is obvious you do every one builds up a tolerance to cannabis its a know fact many studies have been done on tolerance to drugs.

And no it is not right for children to smoke cannabis my opinion and just because i dont agree with you does not make me an idiot. One of the reasons why cannabis is still illegal is the debate that children will start smoking it underage like they do with alcohol and tabacco hense my statement.

I agree cannabis should be legal and i agree the effects and dangers are far less than with alcohol and tabacco. But i dont agree with you stating cannabis is totaly harmless, it is to degree but think about it, you are burning plant matter and inhaling it into your lungs at high temperatures that smoke contains more than just THC or CBD which are the psychoactive substances we want to get high, what about all the other chemicals that come with it? This I would like to know myself without the biased opinions of the people who outlaw cannabis.

As for the statement its not my fault you cannot afford to smoke as much as i do, thats just childish as you dont know anything about me but lets put it this way I dont need to goto work. Its not impossible to smoke 7grams a day but you carnt be doing much else except posting on this forum with a joint hanging out your mouth 24/7. :stoned:

I am not claiming i am right i open to different opinions and discussions and i love a spliff just as much as anyone else.

Its good to have open heated debates espcially when you a passionate about something like cannabis and what we are talking about is exactly what would be discussed for the legalization of cannabis arguments against and for. I am for making it legal by the way! :jointsmile:

ON TOPIC If cannabis was legal then we wouldnt have the problem of moldy or doctored weed as it would go though quality control and you could take it back if you were not happy!

Better still if it were legal people would be growing it.

I agree that children shouldnt be smoking it, but if it were legal it'd be the same as with cigs, kids would smoke it, some would try it and some would carry on smoking it because they enjoy it.

I've been growing it since i started smoking it at the age of 11, and i've always smoked large amounts since i started. It has never done me any harm, and when im growing and have nothing to smoke i buy from a grower, not only making it chepaer for me, but i know whats in the bud. I've never even had a smokers cough from it.

You seem to enjoy talking about THC CBD but what about all the others such as CBN CBG and the other cannabinols.

Yes, it's plant matter. BUT, this plant matter has never killed anyone in it's history, you cant over dose on cannabis, yet you can with water, something we comsume every day.

It's never been proven to cause cancer. If you it makes no differnce on your chances of getting cancer, and it doesnt kill brain cells, and it doesnt really effect the lungs too badly, how can this be a bad thing?

Kids are kids, and they're going to want to experiment. It doesnt matter what age. It'd rather they smoked some weed that isnt going to cause any damage than go out and get drunk and possibly get alcohol poisoning, and i'd rather they smoke cannabis than cigs which we know have over 60 cancer causing chemicals. As for the carciogens [sp?] if you blow the hit out after a natrual breath [3 seconds] you can expell almost all of them, while abosrbing all the phycoactive compounds... THC CBD CBN.

Cannabis should definatly be legal, theres too much properganda about it, were all about educating children these days so lets educate them with fact and not let them growing up beliving opinion to be fact. If they do they'll grow up to be ignorant little cunts.

As opposed to what? Children will always use drugs* before they are of age, or ones that are flat out illegal. This is just a fact of life that we have to get used to. Seriously, the best thing we can do is educate kids because as we all know they will form their own opinions about whether something is okay or not. If they base those opinions on real facts and other people's experiences then we have done the best we can.

You're the first person I've heard mention the 3-second thing, but you know more than me so I will take your word on that one right now. If it is true then I wish it was more commonly known. As a kid people often tell others to hold in the smoke longer. The main thing that does is probably just give one a little head rush from holding one's breath, but as a kid it's easy to believe it. If it does cause harm then it's too bad that many tokers think holding it in longer will allow you to use more of the psychoactive ingredients in the smoke.

Things like that are why proper education is the most important thing we can do about the cannabis "problem", which some people think we have. I'd say for dangerous drugs such as cocaine this type of education is even more important. Instead we have gov'ts putting sand on weed. As if that is really going to stop anyone from getting high. At least we all agree they need to get their heads out of their asses!
