I remember reading on here about putting ur seeds in a wet paper towel under a lamp and the seeds just sprout from that

someone wanna explain how to do this?

i have some seeds and i feel like fuggin around

Put the seeds in between a couple of wet paper towels in some sort of tupperware container. Put the container someplace warm. The seeds should be relatively dark. You don't need light. I use the top of my fridge.

Check everyday to make sure:
a) the paper towels aren't dry
b) the seeds have germinated.

Once you have germination, plant in your medium right away. If you leave it a day the tap root will grow quite long and it's more trouble.

Should take 24-48 hours, at the most three days.

I use the paper towel method as well, in a tupperware container with the lid on it for humidty, and then on the top of my computer monitor it goes... Checking to make sure the paper towels stays MOIST.

the best way that works for me is to get one wet paper towel, then put the seeds spaced from each other on one half of the towel then fold the empty side over it, then put the paper towel in a plastic sandwich bag then you tie the bad up and make sure there is air inside the bag so breath into it about 2-3 times as ive heard this works better but it will work even if you dont breath, then i just leave it in my sock drawer basically somewhere warm and dark, and as everyone else said check after 2 days then everyday, they should sprout that way, then the white part that comes out is the root, so when you come to planting it put the white part into the soil so the seed is on top.
