Rational Recovery for drug addiction, alcoholism...
Hey, my parents made me go talk to the founders of this program. I only smoke weed. The guy, Jack, said I was tearing the family apart and that it is impossible to live a productive life using any drug. He also said that it is impossible for a family to function and be happy if any 1 family member or all family members use drugs. I said bullshit I know many happy families with daily weedsmokers that are productive members of society, because I do. He didnt believe me. "All users are losers" is another thing he said. Anytime i would try and tell him weed aint bad or justify my smokin he would say "thats your addiction talking"
I wanna know what your families think of your tokin, and your relationship with them. I also want to know how successful you are/what you do for a living....
Stay high

heres what you should do.
tell him that that is his uninformed opinion talking.
tell him that cannabis is only psychologically addicting and less than 9% of all users ever expirience any addiction from it at all.
also tell him that if he wants to talk about cannabis then he should be well informed on the unbiased truth and not some propaganda he hears on tv.
heres the link to "the emperor wears no clothes"

i suggest you study it because i doubt the gy will want to read it so you better remember some good facts, figures and arguments from it.

The guy is a biased asshole.
His opinion will not change no matter what you do.
Just play along and get kicks about it later.

well, i do smoke a lot of fuckin weed ( up untill about a month ago i smoked anywhere from a half 8th- half ounce a day, probly 4-5gs on average, but now about a bowl a day). Ive never been in trouble with the law, but I did get sent home from school for smelling like weed and looking high (of course i was, but I denyed, they didnt beleive me). I dint even have anyhting on me. I've gone to school high almost everyday all of high school (I'm a senior), and this was ym first time being caught (have had some CLOSE calls though). My grades have never been bad, and I'm going to graduate early. After i got caught, my mom started acting crazy, she searched my room and took a half zip, my bong, pipe, and jut a bunch of other shit(baggies, roaches, etc...).

funknugget I told my parents that I smoked weed as far as I know they never suspected.
well really I told my mum.
mum took it quite well her answer was if I tell you not to smoke in the house you are going to do it somewhere else I rather know where you are smoking & how much.
so for me hosnety was the best policy. As for that poor exscuse for a councillor he should take his head out of his ass & experiece real life before

Well, I'm 18, i smoke ganja daily if i have it. I go to college, i have a job, i'm a productive member of society. My dad smokes hash and he used to be a bond broker, he's very intelligent, i aspire to be just like him. Me and my family get along great regardless of our cannabis use. Ofcourse the drug counsellout will tell you that CRAP! Users are losers =/ Edgar alan poe would be impressed with this guys poetic grace. Drug use doesn't necessarily tear families apart. He's stereotyping all drug users which is wrong. I don't feel like going on and producing a whole essay about why he's a douche. I know he's wrong and anyone who isn't a government tool and actually finds out their own information will say the same.
