The Troops DO NOT want reinforcements

"DarkGreen"]"I have reached the tentative conclusion that a significant portion of this administration, maybe even including the vice president, believes Iraq is lost. They have no answer to deal with how badly they have screwed it up. I am not being facetious now. Therefore, the best thing to do is keep it from totally collapsing on your watch and hand it off to the next guy -- literally, not figuratively." Senator Joe Biden!

To an extent I could support the invasion because Saddam was a tyrant and a bloodthirsty dictator who killed many thousands of innocent people. I'm sure he's in Hades now or whatever you call "hell" that he made people suffer through in life.

But he should not have been allowed to rise to power in the first place, but the Americans let him and funded him because they did not want fundamental Islam coming into Iraq as it did to Iran.

It really boggles my mind that Bush would go after Iraq when they have found no evidence or traces of weapons of mass destruction. I think you could call it weapons of mass delusion now. I bet if people in America knew that there were no weapons before the war, they probably would have had Bush impeached. I have to admit, Bush did try really hard to sell this war to the American public.

I think the US should go after North Korea because they have admitted they have nukes.

Believe me, a lot of people in Canada have great hatred for Bush, but not Americans. There is a big difference. It is kind of like love the sinner but hate the sin.

Even Canada's drug policy is dictated by the US and we don't want their style of a "drug war" here. When we legalize hopefully soon when the Conservatives are out, we can move forward towards a better future for all of North America.

Do a google search on "WMDs moved to Syria". There have been several threads in here on the subject also. There is a Syrian Journalist in exile right now because he printed the story with locations. There is also one of Saddams ex-generals that confirmed the move.

Lets not forget about the nuclear scientist that just happened to have plans buried in his garden per Saddams request.

17 U.N. resolutions broke, paying families of Martyrs, acts of genocide on the Kurds and Shiites........etc........

Saddams General:

Read the book: The Bomb in My Garden
http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyT...471679658.html
"This one book will tell you more about Iraqâ??s quest for weapons of mass destruction than all U.S. intelligence on the subject. It is a fascinating and rare glimpse inside Saddam Husseinâ??s Iraqâ??and inside a tyrantâ??s mind."
â??Fareed Zakaria
author of The Future of Freedom

"The Bomb in My Garden is important and utterly gripping. The old cliché is trueâ??you start reading, and you donâ??t want to stop. Mahdi Obeidiâ??s story makes clear how hard Saddam Hussein tried to develop a nuclear weapon, and the reasons he fell short. It is also unforgettable as a picture of how honorable people tried to cope with a despotâ??s demands. I enthusiastically recommend this book."
â??James Fallows
National Correspondent, The Atlantic Monthly

"Obeidi was the key scientist in Saddamâ??s centrifuge program, and he was central when they tried to conceal it. He was already thought to be too friendly to the weapons inspectors, and he showed considerable personal courage in coming forward as he did during very unsettled conditions after the war."
â??David Kay
former UN weapons inspector and Head of the Iraqi Survey Group in charge of searching for weapons of mass destruction

So they went to Iraq, then to Iran, and now to Syria? Can the US just pick a place where the weapons are?! My goodness eh!

Do a google search on "WMDs moved to Syria". If we (Bush) knew they were moved to syria, why did he lie and accuse Iraq of having them?
