well what do they look like?....The girls have been in flower for 2 weeks now.... Its my first grow and I think I have it going on ... Its a Hydro setup I bulit myself with a 600w HPS.....I started with 3 plants in here but one turned out Fed up and I think it might have been a male so I cut him early and now I have two (I think) Females.....the dykes have gottin so big in 2 weeks I cant belive it

Ita hard to comment on pics with HPS lighting, cause the color is all off. They look healthy, no sign of burn. @ 2 weeks into flower you should be able to tell sex pretty soon - at 2 weeks mine generally all have the bud set formed.

What strain are they, what type of system and what /how often are you feeding them? Type meaning E&F,NFT, DWC, SWC, Bubbler, etc etc?

For a first grow I would say you are doing fine. It would be nice to have the details as Tokudai mentioned.

thank you for looking.. sorry for the time that it has taken to get back to this but things around here are getting ceazy at this time, but I will get to it soon. as I said its home bulit and Im suprised it even works..WILL GET TO THIS IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO

Ok here goes my attempt at describing my setupâ?¦.

The idea for this is a bit off the wall IMOâ?¦

One day a got the fever and ordered some beanâ??s. After a while I started thinking about how the hell was I going to grow with 4 kids in the house.

Well after brainstorming the idea was setâ?¦. Build a BOX in the back half of the basement. The wife was going to be ok with this as long as the SMELL was not there.. AT ALL!!!!!!!!! Well back to the forumsâ?¦CAN 66 filter and a Vortex (shit another 350 w/shipping) Ok now the box was built 4 foot by 8 foot. 2 rooms at 4 X 4 each one for the veg and the other for the bloom.

Then thinking about yield I wanted to grow with hydro, but this is my first grow, Ever. Ok I can handle it as I do have the forums here on the net. So I order two 42" x 8" x 4" White Flood Trayâ??s, drain fittingâ??s, Rockwool and other things that I thought I may need.

So it all arrived, got a few Rubbermaidâ??s from wal mart and put it together. A pump and manifold for the watering. Canâ??t forget the air stone.

The light??? Well it was off to home depot for the good old 48â?� floâ??s. I picked up 4 2-tube units.

Now to the beans, I did germ 2 bag seeds and put them into the trays when they came up. Turned on 2 of the floâ??s â?¦off and runningâ?¦

The real beans came in but I didnâ??t want to waste them and only germed 4 or so. They came up and wham 4 lights burning. This was like Nov. 5th or so.

The only good bean that made it through the rough start was Aurora Indica. Both of the bag seed made it as well.

About a week or so later my buddy and I started two of each of the Aurora Indica and Super Shivia (I think) and I think 4 of a mix seed pack I bought.

Well they sat in veg getting bigger. The older 3 2 bag and the AI got big as hell and I had to make a move to get them into flower.

Went to the Hydro shop and got a 600w HPS. Got home and with a few days off of work got into putting the grow room together, More trips to wal mart. Got a few more Rubbermaidâ??s. I had to cut 1 down so it wasnâ??t so high for the plants, (only 1 bag of Hydroton) put another reservoir together and moved 3 of all the plants. The tub after I cut it is about 18â?� X 24â?� 12 high or so. Put all 3 plants in it and hoped for the best. This was Dec. 24.

Within the first few days I went in the box and thought I was a cowboy or something and ROPED one of the bag seed down. Its like LST I think.

A few more days later the roped BS and the AI were showing their sexâ?¦. WHITE HAIR EVERWHERE!!!!!! Now I look at the 2ed BS and the little thing was not looking so good and the sex parts were NOT looking the same as the others so an eviction was in order. HE GOT THE BOOT!!!!

Now Iâ??m thinking the AI is looking like a cow in need of a good roping, so down she goes.


As far as the setup goes thatâ??s about it. 2 plants in bloom side and the veg side is begging to get into bloom (3 mix seed 1 AI and 1 SS) I need to figure out what to do with them until the bloom side is done.

The Nutes I use are the Flora Series, I use the strength listed on the bottle for the stage the plants are in.

Well now that I tried to write a book, I need to give my fingers a break. I have and will be uploading more pics the image gallery.

Any and all comments welcome, be nice as this is my first grow.

damn forgot....

the feeding settings are;

in veg is 3 to 4 times a day depending on the size of the plants
in flower during lighted hours it runs 45 min and off for 15 and during dark it runs for 15 and off 45

I dont know if any of this is the best, but it is growing and looking good.

the next flower batch Im thinking about changing the bloom setup but dont know to what yet.

ok i need to get in the box before it goes dark in the back.
