i go downstairs, open my door and listen ( live in rowhome)
then, the person that was screaming actually comes outside
and continues to scream for someone to call 911.
she didn't see me, and i go inside, but wait by the window
to give a few min for the cops to come, during this time
NO OTHER NEIGHBOR goes outside, no lights go on, etc.
thankfully, cops drive by while she is outside
i listen to the convo and it's her son that is
"messing" with her-- her son claims the mom was drunk,
while the mom claims to have been asleep while the son
came home. cops basically do nothing, and leave (no evidence??)-- officer's
last words to her "i hope i don't have to come back tonight"

i go up to my room, try to go to sleep again (thinking i won't be able to)
and what do i hear? MORE SCREAMING!
once again, screaming for someone to help,
screaming "why are you doing this?! stop fighting/biting(?) me! somebody help!"
i call 911 AGAIN!
same cops show up and i listen in to the convo once again
from my window. this time, the mom says she was being choked by
him ( which i believe, b/c i heard the screams)
they don't apprehend him or ANYTHING!
they tell the mom to get a restraining order on him,
but the mom refuses to go back inside her OWN HOME
b/c she is scared of her son
her next door neighbor comes outside and tells them to resolve it
b/c she can't sleep (all in front of the cops) and that the son should
go to his g'mas home. the neighbor DOESNT EVEN mention the screaming done
by the mom. the kid is telling his mom to get back inside, but
the mom is fearing that he will actually kill her and tells the cops this.
after 15 min or so of standing around, mom pleading w/ cops to do something,
the kid leaves with his friend (just walks away, the friend says he can spend the night)
and his last words to his mom are "fuck you" and "YOU FUCKING BITCH"
he screams this as he is 100 ft away, but still IN FRONT of the cops.
so what do the cops do? they get in the car and drive away


and now i'm confused. did the cops do the right thing? was it nothing to worry about? is this justice? is this safety? WHAT THE FUCK!!
