help
how do u mean they die before spreading the leaves is it the first set of leaves (oval shaped) or the second the rigid leaves?
cause i'm having an "experimental grow" and its on the 3rd set of leaves under winter sunlight and bery weak flourecent and it grows fine, just the stem is a bit lanky

help
if you want help you'll need to give us some more information than that m8.
if your spending so much on seeds , then its obviously good genetics
which means , your doing something wrong
whats ur germination method? what light are you using? what medium are you using?
just answering those 3 questions would give us better insight to your problem.
personally i use the paper towel method for germination, when i see the tap root i put it into a small pot , bout half an inch down in the medium , i spray some water onto cling film and put it over the top , place it in a dark cupboard , not too warm , not too cold , as soon as i see it break through soil level i get it under a few CFL's until i beleive its developed enough to be put under HPS.
when the seeds shell falls of it can sometimes take a few days for the cotydylons to spread out and develop its first set of 'bladed' leaves.
i suggest you read up on as many informative threads as possible.
