Quick "Q's" about testing results and randoms...

1.) I tested on Thursday. The person on duty informed me that the results would be available within 24 hours. A friend of mine told me that, if a test was failed, the testing facility would have to contact me before contacting my potential employer. Is this true? Does the same thing hold true for diluted results?

2.) I'm planning on staying clean until after I've started the job and read through the employee handbook to see if I can find any information about random tests. Can a company do completely random drug tests on its employees without them being informed of it in some way? That information would have to be available to me in some form, wouldn't it?

I can't say that it is law, I know that I have come up dilluted on a test and I was contacted before my employer, but they were contacted, too.

They do have do advise you of random tests. I believe that you have to sign a form saying that you and understand and agree.

I have said it before-synthetic urine is the way to go. My personal fave is Quick Fix.

When you came up diluted, how long after the test did they contact you?

I took my test on a Friday, and they didn't tell me until Tuesday, but this 10 years ago, and I believe that the testing process has progressed since then.
