Boogers -- Healthy?
I'd heard that eathing one's boogers can actually be a healthy choice. SO I put it to the test, and I'm a believer. Yah, I know, gross right...
Mucophagy (literally mucus-eating, also referred as picking one's nose and eating it) is the consumption of the nasal mucus, boogers, and other detritus obtained from nose-picking.
Modern scientific research suggests that mucophagy seems to be a natural and even healthy activity, which exposes the digestive system to bacteria accumulated in the mucus, thereby helping to strengthen the overall immune system.
The body even naturally encourages the formation of a dense, salty coating to the boogers to make them more palatable. There is no other known reason for the high salt content in the mucus in the nose.
In mankind's caveman times - it would not have been strange to spend an evening sitting around with friends and sampling each other's boogers. It sounds disgusting - but its simply part of our instinctual primate grooming behaivors that have only recently been repressed through collective social training.
Just as the collective social training that has depressed cannabis use - booger use too has suffered. I can say that I occasionally slip a booger in my mouth and I was the only member of my family that didn't get sick over the holidays. Go figure!420izzle Reviewed by 420izzle on . Boogers -- Healthy? Boogers -- Healthy?
I would have to say the boogers with a combo of slime and crust are the best. Kind of like a big sticky nugget, just dry enough to smoke! And I much prefer to get my good bacteria via acidophilus also (yogurt) and I take my daily vitamins and the like too. But a greasy booger is a more interesting topic. And come on...admit it, you've eaten a booger or two. Anyone who claims otherwise is lying.

Boogers -- Healthy?
Well..since they claim boogers are made because of the collection of dust and lint..I wouldn't consider that healthy but I also don't think it's unhealthy. I think boogers, just like feces and urine is used to get rid of as much waste as possible..I wouldn't consume my own waste, that's why it was released from me..serves no purpose and definitely no good lol....well it might serve some purpose, but not going back into my body. So it might not be unhealthy to..try them but in today's society..that's not considered good hygiene

Boogers -- Healthy?
I never cared much for the taste of a booger. Even when I was a child I was someone else do it, so I tried it. I can say it was quite gross and wasn't my thing to eat my own bodily fluids and solids.
Just eat your own shit and drink your own urine.

Boogers -- Healthy?
weird thread
it brings to mind veganism and how a lot of my friends find that choice to be unhealthy because you can easily get protein and certain nutrients in a non vegan diet that a noob veganist might struggle to find at first with a strict diet...like immaculate existance..a boy in a bubble..sorta thing..or never taking any risks can make you essentially weaker in general..immunesystem-wise and mentally and experience wise so i can see the point of this thread...and essentially agree with it's point but will never eat my own... lol
odd thread
