cat like hairs in bud.

i've asked stuff like this before and people have just told me not to be paranoid, but mold doesn't seem like something i want to mess with so i'm trying to get a definite answer. i know what really moldy bud looks like but about 65% of the stuff i get around here will have these cat like hairs on a few of the buds. it's not like webs of cotton like stuff like bad mold is. just a few hairs, they're white and sometimes have a curl to them. they seem like they're "in" the bud, like there's some resistance when i try to pull them out. i don't smoke nasty stuff or anything, it's usually all nice smelling headies or some nice beasters if times are tough. i have a cold at the moment and i dont really wanna take the chance of putting anything else harmful into my lungs. is this just stuff that gets stuck in the bud while its growing, drying, or curing or is it something i should be worried about?

It's just something that gets stuck in it at some point...if it was mold, you're going to get a different taste or smell to your weed, and if you haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary don't worry about it. Sometimes I'll see random fibers or something..but it's nothing harmful. Just some sort of natural fiber that was traveling through the air or something.

i knwo what ur talking about!! sometimes i notice real thin clear or white hairs, inside of the bud when im breaking it up, i winder wtf this is but i just pick em out and smoke the shit, i guess markass was right its something that gets stuck in there at a point, and psphamos you made me laugh,, next time i have to burn it and see what it smells like oh and btw this happens rarley and it happens with chronic weed too
